Data Management

Data Management is the portal's location for:

  • Sharing outcome data with the Data Science team to help us improve our services and help you better identify your risky and genuine populations.
  • Maintaining block and allow lists for Device IDs and IP Addresses.

The landing page also provides an audit log of actions taken within the Data Management area. To see the items associated with an action in the audit log (outcome data file or list update), select the download action in that row's action menu.



Block & Allow Lists

NeuroID allows you to maintain the following lists:

  • Device ID Allowlist
  • Device ID Blocklist
  • IP Address Allowlist
  • IP Address Blocklist

To view/edit a block list, choose the desired list from the dropdown at the top of the page and click the Go button.

Each list landing page displays the items currently in that list and provides for the actions listed below.

List modifications should be effective within minutes.


Adding Items to a List

Add by File: Add by File appends the contents of an uploaded file to the existing list. To take this action, select it from the list action menu, choose the file containing the data to append, and click the Submit File button.

Add Manually: Add Manually allows you to update a list by typing (or copying and pasting) one or more values into a text area, as opposed to uploading a file. To take this action, select it from the list action menu, enter the value(s) (comma-separated if more than one), and click the Submit Values button.

You may notice that "/32" has been appended to IP addresses in your IP address lists. /32 is a subnet we add to IP addresses that don’t have one so that we can process them all the same way. It’s presence does not impact our ability to block or allow the IP address in any way.


Replacing an Entire List with Another

Replace with File: Replace by File removes all existing items and replaces them with those in the selected file. This action cannot be undone, so if you replace a list with a file that does not contain all of the values you want in your list, you will need to re-add them. To take this action, select it fro the list action menu, choose the file containing the data you want to replace the current list with, and click the Submit File button.


Removing Items from a List

Remove: To remove a single item from a list, select the Remove action from the applicable row's action menu.

Remove All: Remove all clears the list and returns it to its default (empty) state. To take this action, select it from the list action menu, and then select the Remove All Values button.


Downloading the Current List

To download the current list contents, use the download button at the top right of the list.



Outcome Data

To send data:

  • Click the Send a File button at the top of the page.
  • Select the site/application the outcome data is for.
  • Browse for the file(s) containing the data you want to send.
  • Click the Send Outcome Data button. Depending on the amount of data you’re sending, it may take a few moments for the upload to finish.

Do Not Upload PII

NeuroID does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Please ensure any file you upload does not contain PII before sharing.
